I’ve always wondered just how far evolution can go, especially with regard to humans. Life evolves according to what is needed for survival, because in the end, that’s what everything is all about: survival. So, our biology learns and adapts so that future generations will do better. And I feel that it’s just how nature was designed. Our bodies grow in a way that facilitates an easier life, from our fingers to our thumbs.
It even shows in geography and biology. Someone who grew up living in the coldest regions of the world will never be able to survive living in the hottest regions for an extended period of time. And the same can be said for the other way around. That’s why from birth, our bodies are tuned up to perfectly match our surroundings.

But is that where it all ends? No. You see, it’s already being said that we have at least 10% plastic in our body system. It’s not dangerous, but it’s there. Due to our messed-up way of treating the ocean and trashing plastic. It has found its way into our foods and drinks, and we can’t do a thing about it now because it’s all a part of us.
And eventually, children will be born having plastic in their body systems. And with the way we’re growing, our dependence on screens will also be a key factor in our evolution. Too much screen time ruins our eyesight and messes with our concentration. I’m sure that soon, humans will develop eyesight that will be somewhat immune to the UV light that comes from screens.

But is this the most major one? No, at least not in my opinion. The rate at which cancer is spreading these days is just disheartening, and the fact that it still has no cure means that if humans really can’t cure it, then nature would have to get used to it. I don’t know when, but maybe in the next hundred years or so, humans might be born with cancerous cells or the cells that kill cancerous cells. It will be somehow written into the immune system.
And then, it will no longer be such a scary bastard. The only scary thing about evolution is that it also brings about more problems. These changes can lead to other physical changes, maybe depletion in certain parts or increments in others. It’s as if this world is cursed to be problematic, just as you’re escaping one thing, something else crops up.
All these things will take a long time to come to life, but I’m sure that it’s definitely going to happen. Hell, no one alive now will be here to witness these things I’m talking about, and that’s okay. Because I don’t want to see the bad side of these changes that evolution will bring about. But it’s all good, life moves on always, and I hope that it just keeps favouring humanity.

Thank you fo this.
Thank you for this.
Human baby will born with more plastic seems unknown to me. I never heard such a thing but it's true we are consuming plastic particles in various forms. I need to check it again.
We are indeed evolving and we will try to adapt with the situation doesn't matter how difficult the situation will be.
it's actually true, they're called microplastics or nanoplastics, either of the two, not too sure.
Got it. I will check it online. Thanks for informing.
