Even at the eleventh hour, miracles can still happen. One of the funny things about life is that most of the time, we set deadlines for ourselves. We give ourselves dates and schedules that we hope to achieve things. And in all honesty, we work hard towards achieving those goals. We get it done, as we should. And many times, things work out exactly as we hoped they would. Other times, we either achieve the goals long before the deadline elapses or just in the nick of time.
That’s one thing many of us do today, especially with this idea of New Year's resolutions. We cage ourselves within these 365 days of the year when we actually have our entire lives to work towards something that's clearly important to us. There are people who are waiting for January 1 to start a project, not because that’s the best time to start it, or that’s the only time they can make it work, or can afford to… they just wanna start it next year for optics.

The new year is not really a sign of new beginnings; every day you wake is a sign of a new beginning. Every breath you draw is a sign of a new beginning. Every birthday you celebrate is also a sign. If you keep waiting for that fixed period of the calendar, then you’re simply going to just be whining to yourself. Because most of the time, even when January comes, you still won’t start anything. You’ll just keep giving yourself reasons to keep postponing something that should have been started a long time ago.
I also have plans of mine that I hope to start next year. I would have started them this year, but they require a level of financial commitment, something I’m not buoyant enough for at the moment. However, I’m working hard towards that NOW. And that’s why I know that by January, I should have enough funds to kickstart it. If I wanted to, I could simply have waited until next year to start saving up the funds, but there’s no need for me to do that. Not at all. Why put it off when I can start right now?

And that’s just what I tell people. Don’t put off until tomorrow something that you can start right now! As long as you have everything in place, don’t wait for just another day on the calendar. Because in the end, it’s just another regular day. One that we all make such a fuss about!
Free yourself from these self-imposed cages. You really can do better. There is more to life than these constraints. There is only one deadline we should answer to, and that’s life. As long as you’re alive, keep working towards your dream. Keep going at it as if tomorrow isn’t promised, and you’d die the next morning. But also keep dreaming big as if you’d live forever. That’s where the beauty of life really lies.
So, just go out and do that thing. Stop waiting for January 1!!! It’s nothing but a long-standing trend.

than you for this.
Thank you for this.
It's good for me that I don't have the habit of procrastination. I give only one deadline to me and in some cases it can be expanded to two. In fact, I believe in doing task faster than my deadline. I can do it. Maybe people call me robot for a reason. 😅!LOL
Hehe... just get it done. Because if we keep waiting for specific times, we're just teasing ourselves.
