Indeed... There needs to be a ministry or agency in charge of being peddlers of false news to book. As long as people know there is punishment attached to it, they will not be so keen to do it.

As long as the government intervenes, such crimes are slightly less than before. Usually news in the form of propaganda and hoaxes will appear a lot before the election and this is the peak where they will make a lot of hoax news that they spread. For things like this we also have to be very careful and wise when using or reading social media news.
