Democracy is indeed the best option, but that's also sad seeing how the other options are not really any better. So, at this point, we just have to live with the lesser evil.

Exactly, it's not perfect, but it's the best we have at the moment. I like the idea of everyone being able to vote and the majority deciding what's best, it's democracy at work.
