I have once dreamed about becoming famous,though I can't remember vividly what the dream al entails anymore. When I saw today's hive learner prompt " what will I do finding myself famous today"? Tshi is a very good prompt I will like to write about . I see a lot of celebrities on social media everyday and I'm kind of person that's I like to learn from people experience and life alot,that what I tend to know more about things my age range do not know sometimes, When I'm watching someone closely, it means have gotten a feel about what to learn from such person and I need to know more,I get to learn from some celebrities mistakes, flaws and I have always say if I'm opportune to be in that state of positions, I will not take some steps and will take some.
The prompt ask If I think it will be a good thing for me and my family if I become famous today? Yes . It's will be a good thing for myself and my family,the happy feelings of my names opening doors that were once closed, Fame will help my career, my financial status will surely turn around because influencing here and there, sponsorships and all. The joy that will be in my heart knowing that when I come out to speak, people will be ready to hear me out, the feelings that my voice that people don't care for before can now be heard and I can also be voice for those still voiceless,all this won't be my benefits alone but my friends and neighbors as well.
Fame will be a blessing but then it can also ruin one life if not handled well and make good use of, Not all people will be happy to see one up, some are looking closely to see you fuck up and they want to use that against you . Do you even know Fame make one lose freedom? Like you can't just walk to market or church without getting unnoticed anymore, camera here and there.
That's one major problem I know will want to overwhelm me due to the fact that I'm a free person ,I love my peace and privacy so much. Fame is temporary,most celebrities that has been forgotten now didn't realize that then, that's why they forgot their face. It's the way one handles fame that makes it continue, if one use it to good purpose,like touching lives, lifting some people up of their miserable life and so on rather than losing focus because of the fame noise here and there.
One thing I have also noticed bring some celebrities down is that they put all their life and that of their family life on social media, like I can only choose to say things about me that I want the public to know and make sure if I'm talking about my life ,then it authentic and not fake ,bcos soon or soonest fakes comes out ,which backstab a lot of celebrities nowadays.
I will try to lay down legacy with my Fame so that I can be forever remembered and not forgotten over some period of time.
True, fame makes somebody lose their freedom. They will not be able to do the normal things they used to do without being swarmed by people and reporters. Its crazy, as they will always walk around with security so that they will not be robbed or harmed. Fame comes with a lot of prices to pay.
Everyone wants to become famous if they get a chance.
