Hive reputation actually increases with the number of upvotes you get. If you get your post voted by authors who have higher reputation (they're called whales) your own reputation increases faster, it's an automatic process. I hope you get it?.
I'm glad to see that you're getting a hang of how things work on Hive. The biggest way to grow is through engagement. It is a sure factor to increase your followers and get noticed. You just have to meaningfully engage with other authors, comment well on their posts, not short comments but well relatable comments, then you can also reblog posts you find interesting and want other authors on your feed to see, then there's upvotes but for now you don't have a high HP so your votes might not really make any big difference, but you can work on that, that's why you have goals to push you every step of the way.
I believe you can get to 100HP if you're consistent and passionate, you'll get there.
