Age is not maturity

Good day, amazing people of Hive Block Chain, and happy new month! Welcome back to my blog. Is another amazing edition in the amazing community of hive learners? It is my pleasure to have you all on my blog today. Coming across this topic, I came to understand why age is just a number.

There is this popular saying that age is just a number. I have come to agree with the idea that age is just a number. Someone's age doesn't mean that person is mature. Before, I didn't believe that age was just a number, but after coming across this man, I started believing that age was just a number. I have seen a young man who is far older than me, but the way he reasoned and talked always made me wonder if he was really an adult, not a mature adult. The way he thought and reasoned was zero, which made me agree with the idea that age is just a number.

To be of age means being able to make decisions and handle them on your own with maturity. For one to be an adult, he or she should be able to reason, understand, and have the ability to handle things perfectly. Our age should not determine our maturity at all.

In my country, if you're 18 years old, you are an adult. They assume you are old enough to take responsibility, and if you're 18 and you commit any crime, you will get punished by the court of law.

I don't support the age limit for starting to count as an adult in my country. I am not fully in support of this age that my country starts counting one as an adult because, at this age, these kids have no idea what the world looks like; they don’t know how to handle things; they are yet not mature enough to be called adults; they are still living on the mercy of their parents. They have not faced the reality of life. How I wish my country would raise the age to 25 because these kids are still tender. I understand that sometimes their hormones make them look bigger and more mature.

What is my ideal age for adulthood?

My ideal age for an individual to be considered an adult is 25 because, at this age, people are more exposed to things, and in reality, it's perfectly okay for one to be called an adult. At age 25, such an individual should be able to reason as an adult. Although most people at the age of 25 will still not be mature, this age will be better than 18 years.

Does age really matter when it comes to maturity?

For me, age doesn't matter when it comes to maturity. You will see an adult who is over 45, but his level of maturity is so low, and an individual who is 25 years old is more mature than him. For me, our age should not define our maturity at all.

Well, I quite agree with you for the 25 years age however, our lifespan only means that, we would have used half of our lives as a minor while the other half as an adult.
Age does not confer maturity on any individual

Yes dear by this age the people will be mature age can never determine someone level of maturity

Although I agree with the fact that age is just a number, but I think age 25 is way too far for one to be considered an adult given then fact that they need to chase their dreams and that's best done well theres self discovery via freedom, but then I understand your perspective.

I put 25 because most of the people at age 18 are not yet mature
