Good day, amazing people of the Hive Blockchain. Welcome back to my blog. It is another edition in the #hivelearners community. I am so delighted to participate in this week's prompt. A little Charity.

If there is something I enjoy doing, it is charity. I don’t joke with donating to people who I am better off than; it really pains me that people no longer do charity because they want to help the person. They use it as a means to show off to people. Gone are the days people give in secret; right now people donate for people to notice them. I have come to understand something recently: whoever wants to donate will come to social media for people to know that he wants to donate to the less privileged.
Charity is an act of love and compassion to help and support people who are worse off than you, and not a means to showcase 'I am not wrong'. If I say that people do charity to catch cruises, I understand that most times people who showcase their act of charity inspire and motivate people. But here comes the big question: how can one know for sure that the money they donate is actually being used for what it was donated for?

One thing is to donate to charity; another is to make sure that the money we donate to charity gets to the right source. Earlier last year my aunt was doing a memorial service for his late parents, but she decided to celebrate in a charity home. My aunt made sure that she saw to the donation; she bought everything and carried it to the charity home. She supervised everything. The smile coming from the kids' faces was awesome. These kids were so grateful, and all around my aunt, these kids are so sweet and innocent.
I came to ask my aunts why she had to pass the stress of cooking for these kids instead of giving the money to the people taking care of these kids. In her words, that money will never be used to take care of the kids; that is why she has to pass through the stress to cook for me. It really pains me that money and gift items given to orphans are being sold out or used by people taking care of them.
Do I donate to charity?
This is one of the things I enjoy doing: putting a smile on this kid's face has a way of gladdening my heart I am this kind of person that doesn'theart. make noise when donating. My aunt will always tell me real charity comes from the heart and is not after people that will praise them for donating.

I will not lie; it is very hard to ensure that my donations get to the right channels and not greedy people. The majority of the time I give to charity, I don’t follow up because I always tell myself it is not really necessary because I don’t want to interfere in their decision, but seeing the way things are going in our society, there is a need to ask if donations get to the right people. People prefer giving to the less privileged directly rather than passing through corners.
This is my entry on the ongoing content #hivelearners topic. A little charity.

The truth is that not every money donated to charity is used for the actual purpose it was donated, some people will want to use it for their selfish needs.
