Seriously, the education system has really evolved. Most of the changes in the education system have really improved the standard of learning in the system, while some of the changes have really done harm to the school system. Because we are in the 21st century, this century has really done harm to the education system.
Reflecting on the educational system back in the day, a lot has really changed. Back in the in the day, every student was serious about their education, knowing full well that education back then depended on merit. Every student was very focused and determined to learn and make their family proud. If you fail a class, you most likely repeat that class until you make it. The education system was really interested because everybody would like to be at the top. There was competition among the students, and every student was eager to learn. Back then, there was nothing like corruption. If you merit something, it will be yours, but currently, if any student wins an award and the family doesn't have long legs, just know that the student has kissed bye-bye to the award.
Coming to these days, the students don't take school very seriously. Most times, I cry for the past school system because exam malpractice has become the order of the day. Students don't take their studies seriously again.
During my days, every morning on the assembly grounds, a student would come out and recite something, which could either be news or what he was taught in class. Back then, school was very sweet, so I don't think schools call students out during assembly to recite something.
Back down, anybody that went to school is respected by the community because they understand the importance of school, but coming to this past day, they see school as a scam, which is why they pay less attention to their studies.
Things students of this day enjoy.
- They learn in a conducive environment, unlike me, who learns under the trees.
- They have access to modern technology. The school system has really advanced; they have full access to the internet, making learning easy for them. They can even learn from the comfort of their homes, not like in our own days, when the teacher needs to explain and explain before we can get it. But presently, technology has made it easy for students to learn from YouTube's and so on.
In my own thoughts, I think the school system should bring in some of the things that help us during our school days. The school system should encourage the students to burn their midnight candles and not depend on malpractice. I think the school system should go away with malpractice because this is the main problem we are having in education today.
Coming down to technology, it has really been a help to education. I am happy that the education system has advanced, making research easy for the students.

I also think the strictness of the old tomes should be brought back, maybe not like before, but a little more than what we have going now.
Today’s digitized educate has helped studen a lot in gaining and accessing knowledge which was very hard in early times because you had to search books and each line to get to know about something but now you can simply type question and will get answers in milliseconds

I agree with you in the aspect of being more strict with the student to help build there Carrier with time in the future but not too strict though.
Because if it's being too much,some students might end using it as an excuse to want to give up on there studies
