Good day, amazing people of the Hive Blockchain. Welcome back to my blog. It is another edition in the #hivelearners community. I am so delighted to participate in this week's prompt, the alien planet.
During my quiet moment, I always think of leaving this planet, Earth, and travelling to another planet. I will always ask myself, 'How will life be there? Will my present life be better than the life I am imagining?' They will always say, 'The devil you know is better than the angel you don’t know.' The big question here is, will I be willing to move to that newly found planet to explore, or will I stay back here and enjoy my life just the way I am enjoying it?
One thing about us humans is that we love exploring things; we would like to know how the things come into existence. Humans are always curious. I will not lie; I love going on adventures to get new ideas and explore places. Despite my love for adventure, Going to another planet is a no-no. Do it for me; everything will be so strange to me. I can’t just throw away the beautiful life I am enjoying here on earth for a place where I will start life afresh. I know that most times in my life I just wish I could start life afresh, but going to another planet is out of it.
I have no reason why I should leave my present life and go to another planet where there are aliens. Everything on the planet will be so strange to me. The idea of leaving this planet doesn’t sit well with me; I can’t embark on the journey. I know fully well that my life is not perfect; that is not a good reason for me to throw away the beautiful memories and the amazing people I have here on earth for a planet that is not certain and unsure to me.
I have a lot of dreams to achieve here on earth. Since I came into existence, I have been living here on earth. I will not like to exist in a place where everything will be looking strange. Staying here on earth will be better for me, with the hope that everything will be fine. I know that life is not easy for me here on earth, but it is better to stay here than to go to a planet that will be struggling to survive. A lot of privilege lies here, and there are more opportunities here than travelling to a planet I don’t know.
I don’t think I am really for any opportunity the other planet can offer me. I am just imagining the way the other planet will be looking at me; to them I will be a strange creature. In all, I will remain here on earth.
