Good day, amazing people of the Hive Blockchain. Welcome back to my blog. It is another edition in the #hivelearners community. I am so delighted to participate in this week's prompt, 'Abort or Not'.
I don’t know if there is any sin as offensive as abortion. For me, abortion is taking an innocent life. You never can tell if that child you abort will be the future leader. I remember when growing up my woman would always preach to me about how bad abortion is, and it kept ringing a bell in my heart and mind about the dangers of committing abortion. My mom made me understand that abortion is committing murder no matter how I try to paint the word. That has always helped to guide me.
The high rate of abortion in my country is so high, more especially coming from the single ladies now. It pains me that people of this generation see abortion as a normal thing; they forget that they are killing innocent life. I still tell people, 'Instead of you aborting a baby, give birth to that baby and take the child to a motherless baby home.'
When you look at our generation, the high rate of young girls committing abortion is so high. Earlier this year I wanted to dispose of my waste with my younger sister, and I received the shock of my life. This baby was still forming; it should be about four months old. After the abortion, the baby was disposed of in the waste bin. I was not myself; I keep asking myself how wicked people can be. The fact that people see abortion as a new thing surprises me.
If you know that you are not fully ready to have a child or take the responsibility of a child due to poverty, why not prevent the pregnancy rather than aborting the baby.
I alway ask myself my couples abort child and the answer I keep receiving when I ask new couples the abort to space childbirth i keep ask if you don’t want a child why not go to hospital and talk with your doctor for the preventative measures to prevent pregnancy than killing an innocent soul i am of the opinion that abortion is very bad why taking life that you can’t create.
I have seen a scenario that the doctor have to advise a pregnant woman to abort the baby for her safety situation like when the mother is have hormones imbalance and a baby that grown outside the uterus (ectopic pregnancy) in a case like this it is not bad for abort the child.
Here comes another big question should fathers have a say when their partners decide to get an abortion yes the should have a say when it comes to abortion the woman shouldn’t go for abortion without the approval of the partner there should be mutual agreement between this two couples. The decision should not be one sided i understand the fact you are the career you need the your partner approval in some hospitals you can’t go for an abortion without the doctor seeing your partner.
In all, abortion is a no-no to me. Why take life you can’t give?
