Was never really a Bruno Mars fan
because the first song I heard from his catalogue was with a rapper and back then I hated that genre with every fibre of my being but when I listened to "the way you are" my hatred reduced and Grenade turned him into an artiste I could listen for at least once a month🤣🤣🤣.
The song grenade talks about one my favorite themes in a song- A HEARTWREAKING LOVE. In the song the artist cries about how his partner treats him badly even after giving her his everything that includes putting himself in danger just to show her how much she means to him. Despite knowing he won't get any positivity from a devastating love story, he still insists on going the extreme for here which he uses catching a grenade to symbolize his affections. The intensity from the artists makes me wonder till this day if the song is an inspiration from a personal experience and I might be right ooooh. I hope I do justice to i5 so enjoy
