I am a person who doesn’t have many artistic talents. Nor do I try to participate in exhibitions, performances, shows, and things like that. I practically only consume artistic material when I’m practically forced to. In other words, I attend events where I need to go, for social and family conventions. So, I’ll be present at school performances in general, because my kids will be there. I’ll also be at events where friends participate, like ballet, literary showcases, etc.
That said, it’s important to point out that my low participation in artistic events doesn’t mean that I disqualify the arts in general.

I like museums, for example, where sometimes there are cultural and artistic exhibits to appreciate. I’m genuinely interested and believe I’m a good audience for this kind of art. But I’m incapable of producing any kind of art. Even in school, it was hard for me to get good grades—it was much easier to study math.
Being a terrible artist, I don’t feel qualified to produce art. And that doesn’t mean that the message I want to convey is disqualified. That’s why I take the stance that there’s no such thing as bad art—every form of expression has value because the value lies in the message.
I defend spaces for all kinds of artistic expression, even those in which I have no interest.
I believe everyone should be free to consume content that fits their own interests, without the need to suppress the artistic production of niches we don’t care about. There’s room for everyone.

It’s not that the art is bad—if you don’t like a certain artistic expression, it’s probably because you don’t like that specific type or form of expression, and it has nothing to do with the content being conveyed. An artist can create poetry, and you might not like poetry. The same artist can make illustrations, and you might prefer that. The same artist, different forms of expression for the same message.
So, I might have an idea and want to express it through art, but because of my personal difficulty in producing artistic content, I’ll probably not be successful—I won’t be a good writer, I won’t be a good painter, I won’t be a good musician. Still, my idea has value and deserves respect.
What brings me closest to the arts is music—I really enjoy beautiful instrumental arrangements, and I also have great appreciation for choral singing. I can honestly say I enjoy it and am genuinely interested in understanding what the artist is delivering. That’s why I think everyone can find their niche, and that way everyone is happy!

Eu sou uma pessoa que não tem muitos talentos artísticos. Tampouco eu procuro participar de exposições, apresentações, shows e outras coisas do gênero. Praticamente só consumo material artístico quando sou praticamente obrigado. Ou seja, eu vou em eventos onde preciso ir, por convenção social e familiar. Dessa forma, estarei presente nas apresentações escolares de modo geral, pois meus filhos estarão lá. Também estarei em eventos onde amigos participam, como ballet, mostrar literárias e etc.
Dito isso é importante destacar que minha baixa participação em eventos artísticos não significa que eu desqualifico as artes de forma geral.

Eu gosto de museus, por exemplo, onde algumas vezes temos mostras culturais e artísticas para apreciação. Eu realmente tenho interesse e acredito que sou um bom cliente desse tipo de arte. Mas sou incapaz de produzir, qualquer tipo de arte. Até mesmo no colégio era difícil para mim conseguir boas notas, muito mais fácil estudar matemática.
Eu sendo um péssimo artistas, não me sinto qualificado para produzir arte. E isso não significa que a mensagem que eu queira transmitir seja desqualificada. Por isso me coloco na posição de que não existe arte ruim, toda forma de expressão tem valor, pois o valor reside na mensagem.
Defendo os espaços para manifestações artísticas, de todas, mesmo aquelas que não tenho qualquer interesse.
Acredito que cada um pode ser livre para consumir conteúdos que são de seu interesse próprio, sem que seja necessário impedir a produção artística dos nichos aos quais não temos interesse. Existe espaço para todos.

Não é a arte que é ruim, se você não gosta de alguma manifestação artística provavelmente é porque você não gosta daquele tipo específico, daquela forma de manifestação, e não tem nada a ver com o conteúdo que se deseja passar. O artista pode criar poesia e você não gosta de poesia. O mesmo artista pode ilustrar, e você vai preferir deste jeito. O mesmo artista, manifestações diferentes para a mesma mensagem.
Então dessa forma eu posso ter uma ideia e querer mostrar através da arte, mas pela minha dificuldade pessoal em produzir conteúdo artístico muito provavelmente eu não seja um sucesso: não serei um bom escritos; não serei um bom pintor; não serei um bom músico. Ainda assim minha ideia tem valor e deve ser respeitada.
O que mais me aproxima das artes é a música, gosto muito de apreciar belos arranjos instrumentais, como também tenho muito apreço por canto coral. Posso dizer que aprecio mesmo e realmente me interesso em entender o que está sendo entregue pelo artista. Por isso acho que cada um pode se encaixar melhor em seu nicho e dessa forma todos ficam contentes!

Cada pessoa passa para frente de um jeito diferente a sua arte, mas acredito que tudo vai muito da interpretação, por exemplo, o que a pessoa quer passar e transmitir, por exemplo essa imagem que vc colocou dos blocos e da laranja, para você pode não ter um significado exato, mas na hora que eu vi, eu já pensei em algo sobre equilíbrio, sobre estar dividido exatamente no meio e ainda assim manter a sinergia.
Tipo, arte é isso, o bloco de cima está no meio certinho e a laranja tambem está na ponta, exatamente no seu meio, eu interpreto como algo relacionado a isso, equilíbrio!

I agree with you that there's no bad art. Everyone taste is different and our preferences is also different. Because you love a particular art image doesn't mean I should also love it. But that doesn't give me the right to call it bad art.
Arte é uma questão de gosto. É como estilo musical tem gente que gosta de funk outras pessoa gostam de musica clássica, mas ambas são musica/arte e pode ser ruim ou bom em relação ao gosto da pessoa que consome
