No matter how great a course is, there is always room for growth☺️ To be very honest, the team in charge of the community is already doing a perfect job. They delivered consistently for a full 100 weeks, giving us meaningful, insightful, and engaging prompts, that’s a lot of work if you ask me. It must have been a lot of hard work and that is why this entry is very important. The community asking for our own views on the growth of the featured edition contests is a real privilege and it also means that we are all a team.

So, these are the things I personally think we can incorporate into the featured edition contests.

  • DEBATES

So this is like introducing two things in a topic whereby people will have to pick a side and defend why they are choosing that. In a week, this can come up like twice and not just randomly. I am sure it can turn out very interesting because people will express their different views on topics.

  • A CHAIN-LIKE ENGAGEMENT SYSTEM

I don’t know how this is going to be, but here is my idea. I have seen times where by everyone will drop their entries on the topics and some will get comments and engagements while some will get none at all. If there is a way whereby there is a chain whereby everyone can support each other irrespective of personal relationship or reputation on the community. Just like a turn by turn kind of engagement.

  • A MORE ACTIVE SUPPORT SYSTEM

The community has been doing a great job when it comes to supporting authors, but I do believe it can be better. The truth is that it is not every time we drop our posts in the discord post promotion channel and tag those we have supported that we actually receive support in return from the community. So as to encourage active authors, who go around appreciating other author’s works, I think we should try to pay more attention to the entries dropped in the post promotion channel on discord.

These are basically things I can think of right now, I am sure other authors will bring up more insightful ideas.

GENRES OF TOPICS I FEEL WE SHOULD ENTERTAIN MORE IN THE COMMUNITY

So, I do think this can get really creative. I love the fact the community tries to bring up different and dynamic topics to the authors. If you don’t really resonate with one today, you might resonate with another tomorrow. However, there are some topics I think catches the interest of most authors here. I am not speaking for everyone now, it is just a personal observation.

  • Travelling

I noticed that a lot of people actually love talking about their adventures or their traveling fantasies. So, maybe if there are more topics that is around this, I think people will love and engage well.

  • Creative non-fiction

This has always been included in the topics so far, when we are asked to share our experiences about a certain event. I think a lot of people actually do really well with story telling and this can help them discover themselves more. We could even try fictions sometimes, maybe😂.

Thanks for reading❤️

You have suggested good things, that's exactly how people talk about their travels here, share their experiences, how they felt during the trip, and what they found difficult. If they have gone through these things in a good way, it will add a lot of knowledge.
