This is just true. The idea that money brings happiness is not totally true. It means we've subjected our happiness to money. And why is it not true? I've seen people who have only enough to live have a happier life than you could have ever imagined. Our parents even though most are not wealthy, we saw that their happiness wasn't tied to money. This concept is sadly a modern-day pressuring one.
What makes this more interesting and valid to me is that Elon Musk said this and then Mark Cuban added more depth and clarity to it. Sadly, it's a majorly poor people mentality that money certainly buys happiness. It's a limited view because we've surrendered ourselves to the mercy of money. As Mark Cuban talked of, money only amplifies, it doesn't change much of what you have already within you.
