While I was a child, I had a lot of superstars that I wanted to be like, especially in the music industry. Their lives look so glorious, and all I wanted was to just live like that.
To be frank, I do not see anything wrong with being famous. It is something that we should even strive to reach because of the opportunities attached.
What do I mean by opportunities? If you check the lives of these famous folks there is kind of influence that they carry, there is this special spot they have in the hearts of the people ( both the rich and the poor) that makes them become like semi gods.
This is a big opportunity, it's not easy for people to love and trust that easily but for famous people, they earn it easily.
How does this profit the masses?
Now this is the reason why I would not take a second thought before embracing fame. With that kind of privilege, as someone famous, you are in a better place to transform lives.
People are ever ready to listen to you, whatever you say becomes something people would want to try out.

You can use that medium to impact lives positively, you can stand against the darkness that is gradually covering our planet and set a standard of light for people to follow and trust me they will.
Fame also comes with connections, you would be privileged to meet with other influential people both in your country and abroad. You can use that medium to table the cry of the masses to the government.
You can use that medium to create organizations, partnering with other rich people to make life better for the poor.
Instead of buying luxurious cars and living expensive lifestyle, you can build companies and hire those without jobs.
There is nothing wrong with fame, and it is not evil as society paints it. I know maintaining it is difficult but originally it was not supposed to be so.
The system was corrupted by people who thought living flashy life and showing off is what keeps one going in the game.
You can be famous and live a simple life. You can be famous and have just a car, even a cheap one and it doesn't change anything.
Our mindset is so diseased that all we think about when it comes to fame is money, power and an expensive lifestyle.
The moment someone is beginning to come to the limelight, their hearts are already thinking of how to start getting those expensive things to show the world that you are doing well.
Seriously, that is an ailment, unfortunately, many people are blind to it.
If not for competition and showing off, most famous people today would not have joined cults or put their hands into dirty things to keep going.
Sadly, they forget that their lives are examples, most people copy from it. Anything they do has the ability to affect a great number of people.
So the answer to the question “ if for some reason I became famous will it be a good thing for me and my family?” Yes, I know it will come with a cost but I think the cost will be worth it.

Fame is not evil, it is just what fame makes most people do that is considered evil. There is a level of fame a person will have, it will start influencing a person's behaviour, like a means of boosting a person's pride and ego and at that point, such person is just few steps from falling apart.
Sha, that's true and and not everyone is strong enough to withstand that
