I am a lover of art right from when I was a young. It gives me joy to see people communicate things through creativity. I also used to sketch things or use mud to mould different objects that came into my mind when I was a kid.
But sadly, my work doesn't make sense to me, each time it was like I was not improving so I stopped.
Art is broad and covers a wide area, it affects clothing, dancing, paintings, sculpture and so on.
The one I am so in love with is paintings, it is mysterious how people are able to capture moments in time, their ideas, their thoughts and opinions and give them life and shapes on papers, walls and so on.
I usually spend a long time on art sites to look at some of those paintings and sketches. The beauty they possess is sometimes very difficult for the eyes to resist.
The question they leave me with is, how are they able to come up with such? How are they able to know just the right colors to use to create a masterpiece?
This is not just about painting, even sculpture and furnitures. Some designs often leave me in awe.
When it comes to art and life in general, beauty, good, bad, and so on, is subjective. One of my teachers in secondary school used to say out of nonsense, there used to be sense.
Everyone has taste, everyone has a definition of what things are. This is why the popular saying that “beauty is in the eyes of the beholder” is very valid.
Two people might be presented with a particular work of art, it might look displeasing to one, while to the other, it might be a work of perfection.
I have experienced this many times when I go for shopping with another person (friends or siblings) I will see a beautiful clothes and be dragged to it, only to ask for their opinion, and they will be like I don't like this, I don't like that, the collar is not rightly fit and so on and that kills my interest but deep inside, I know that what I saw was beautiful.
It's sometimes difficult for two people to see things the same way. And this art thing is expression, people have the right to express themselves the way they want.
Just like using the English language to express ourselves, some individuals are skillful at it while others are not but does that mean that their expression is bad because they didn't do it with skills and perfection?
I think the answer is a capital “no,” they also have a message to give and even if it doesn't appeal to you, to someone out there, it will make sense.
So, concerning the issue of bad art, seriously I think it's based on individual taste, but generally no art is bad no matter how poor is was made.
Someone will still find meaning out of it. The fact that it was not professionally made can't change the fact that it is still art and every art carries a message.
So to me, I don't think any art should be qualified as bad art, it might not be standard but it will definitely affect a life out there.
Nevertheless, my opinion is, whatever we do, we should give it our best, let excellence reflect all around it. Since art is something that touches lives no matter how it is made, it's wise to make it with caution because it also says a lot about the hands that made it.

No matter how art is, I believe there is always that one person that would give meaning to it and have learned not to condemn art works too.
That is just it, so there's nothing like bad art
I'm also a lover of painting and sculptures too. Humans are of different perspective which means we can't always view things the same way which affects our judgements of art work.
