School plays a very crucial role in our lives. For most of us where we are in life today is a result of the school we went to.
What we studied, the kind of company we had, the experience and so on contributed in making us who we are.
If we had gone to different schools, for a fact we wouldn't be the same as we are. The people we would meet would be different, what we might study might be different, the experience we will have will be different and those things have the ability to influence lives.
For me, I attended a college of Education. If I had gone to the University instead, I am certain I wouldn't have had anything to do with the education line.
Initially it was the university I applied for and the course I applied for was Medicine and surgery. If I had gotten that admission, a lot would have changed. I probably would have been a medical doctor by now and not a teacher.
My thinking and cycle wouldn't have been the same because every environment has its traits, the way I think and do things currently wouldn't have been the same.
I wouldn't even be on Hive Blockchain because I was onboarded by my childhood friend who insisted that I learn about crypto and I can't appreciate him enough.
If I was in the medical line, I wouldn't school at home and by the time my friend introduced me to Hive I would have still been in school.
Well, all these have high chances of happening yet, I believe that fate plays a critical role in our lives, it doesn't matter which school we go to, a lot might not be the same but life might still find a means to make us experience whatever we are experiencing currently.
In life, it's like it's not mostly about the journey, it's about the destination.
Some things are just bound to happen to shape and prepare us for the future. Life can carry you from medicine to teaching although still in the medical line just to teach you something before either taking you back or leaving you there but as a pillar.
Nothing just happens, wherever we find ourselves, it was never by chance, it was well programmed. But don't get me wrong, don't find yourself in a bad situation and say “Emreal said, it was programmed by life,” no.
Fate can be changed, we are created for excellence and greatness, don't settle for less or remain in misfortune thinking it's your destiny, step out and do something about it. The narrative can be changed.
Whether you go to a different school or not, certain things that you thought you either escaped or fall victim of would have still caught up with you anywhere.
But the story can always be different if you know where you are headed in life and you are deliberate in getting there. Things might not be the same but you can make it go your way, but you will pay a price for it.
