The world has indeed changed a lot compared to the early days where peaceful dialogue was the aim of our community, state and even the country at large to settle chaos and matter arising which is so sad to see that the majority no longer have time for that again.
It is even heart broken the more to see that resolving issues peacefully seems like a waste of time in our diaspora and this is the condition we find ourselves children when they get into trouble want to settle it by fighting, parents are not left out too. what about the society where if there is an issue amongst two parties both of them would be called and forced to hug each other which indicate that peace now reigns between them is no longer done that way again and the shameful one is that the government house has now turned into a boxing ring our leaders who are supposed to show us the way are now the ones fighting even more than the youths.
Violence is no longer something that freaks anyone because of how constantly we've seen people in the act and it seems to me that it is even encouraged the more if not so why will the movies frequently show it to it's viewers they made us believe it is the best way to prove a man/ woman is galant and dreaded but what they don't know is that our kids unintentionally and intentionally learn different fighting skills from it. I vividly remember some years when we were still coming up my parents although guide what we watch but still gave us a free hand to select the movie of our choice and then you see my brother's will always want to watch a movie where there is so many fighting skills and all that. We never thought for once that our last and second to the last brothers were picking these moves so fast not until they both had a misunderstanding and before you know it the last one told the other he was gonna show him that his the commando I believe if we were not there on time to separate both of them something terrible might have happened and from that day on our mom and dad warned us strictly never to tune in to that channel or anyone that has so much fighting scene.
I want to also believe it is because we see violence everywhere that is why it is increasing rapidly and it will continue to get worse if the issue is not tackled with urgency because you offend someone today he/she goes back home to restrategise and comes back in ful force for vengeance.
So in order to combat this growing problem, lots of heads must be put together from me, you, the community, state, the federal government and even international bodies by first:
"addressing issues from the root". Rather than jumping into conclusion, when a problem is addressed from the root it saves a lot.
"Set rigid and clear rules". Rules are mostly broken because of its flexibility but once it becomes rigid a lot of people would be sure to abide by it.
And lastly implementing government policy and intervention by organizing social welfare programs and international cooperation to eradicate violence if not completely but to see that there is an improvement in the society.

Based on the way the world now operates, humans see violence as a easy means of settling dispute instead of diplomacy. It is quite sad but it is the reality we now live in. It is no doubt that digital media content play a role in promoting violence but I believe violence already exist within mankind before the existence of movies.
