A quarrel between friends

in Hive Learners2 years ago

Hello Learners,

Friendship is like a beautiful flower; it should be nurtured every day. Even though one has many friends in life, it becomes even more important when it comes as part of your close-knit family or as a member of your small circle of trusted friends. Friends are often times the ones who understand you the most and can take you out of your troubles and vent out your emotions. They also become the least judgmental people to know when you have bad days or are just being yourself. When good things do happen in life, having good friends does help improve things that much quicker! It may not always feel like it but having friends around does have its benefits!

Talk it Out

It's natural to have strong feelings when you're in an argument with someone you care about. But there are a few reasons why an argument might get heated and get out of control. If your argument has turned into a fight, it's important to take a step back, cool down, and talk it out. Bury your differences in a letter, text, or email, or meet with your friend's parent or adviser to discuss the situation. Friends don't want to be arguing with you and they want to help you work things out. When you're in the middle of an argument, you may feel like you're on the right track. But as you continue to argue, you're probably digging yourself in deeper. Try to step back, think about what you're really trying to prove, and calm down a bit.

Be Empathetic

When you're in a fight with a friend, it's easy to get upset and lash out at your friend to vent your anger. This is not the best way to handle things. You should always try to be empathetic towards your friend. This means that you should understand the situation from your friend's perspective while also trying to look at things from your own perspective. You can be empathetic by saying things like "I can see why you're upset" or "I understand how you feel". You should try to never say something out of anger. If you do, you won't be saying what you really mean and you may hurt your friend even more.

Stay Active

A good way to decrease your stress is to do something that has a calm and relaxing effect on you. This could be anything from taking a walk to going out for a cup of coffee with a friend. There are a lot of ways to get your mind off of things and relax when you're stressed out. If you're looking for ways to do this, try looking into one or more of these: Yoga, meditation, breathing exercises, or even reading a book. Any of these activities may have a calming effect on you and allow you to get your mind off of things a little bit. Whether you're looking for ways to relax or just to get your mind off of things, staying active can help you out a lot.

Don’t Take Things Personally

Friends don't tend to hold grudges and they don't try to make you feel bad for what you're doing. They'll just try to get you to change what you're doing and see things from a different point of view. If your friend does say something to you that isn't meant to hurt you, don't take it personally. Be understanding, and try to find a way to talk things out with your friend. If your friend is upset about something, don't take it personally. Be understanding, and try to find a way to talk things out with your friend.

Making a good friend will help you a lot in life. When you have a good friend by your side, when you're going through difficult times, your friend will be there to always cheer you up.

A true friend will never see you depressed and walk away, he/she will always find solution. I still remember my very close friend, he knows when I'm sad, happy or angry and he always finds a way to cheer me up.
