An amazing day and grateful to God for the opportunity to share and participate in this contest which focuses on distraction.
Before I proceed, I would like to briefly explain my understanding on what distraction entails.
I think there's no human being under the surface of the earth that hasn't been distracted at one point or the other. Distraction means when an individual losses grip of what attracts him. There is no distractions without attractions. Distraction entails drifting from the focus of a thing.
Shifting away from the goal or purpose. There are many reasons or factors that makes one distracted. It varies on individuals etc. When you're not focused, definitely you would be distracted.
- Lack of planned schedule. When you fail to plan definitely you planned to fail. Most distraction comes outside the schedule. When you're focused, you won't be easily distracted.
- Peer groups. Who are your friends? Bad company will corrupt the good morals in you. The kind of friends you have will determine how productive your usage of time will be.
- Have a niche. You can not be every where all the time. What do you want to achieve? What's your passion? What's your pursuit? Don't sit at the fence instead take a decision. You're the product of your decision therefore take good decision.
- Have a mentor. This will go along way to help curtail some excess and monitor your activities. Always seek for guidance and counseling where appropriate.
