For this edition, it comes with one of the trending things that virtually everyone is striving to be part of which is content creation. Before I proceed, I would like to explain what content monetization means. This can simply be seen as the process of turning your content into money. It can be seen as the process of earning from contents that one has created like video, or podcast on social media handles. Content monetization is a means to make money from what you have created or written. In summary, it's to convert creativity into cash or money.
Are there any benefits of content monetization? Oh yes I would like to share some of them here. Let's go; Monetizing a content would help one to more people who are interested in the kind of content you have created. Every content has a specie of followers and subscribers. When a content is monetized, it would help to reach to a wider audience. Aside this, monetizing content will help one to earn more money. I have seen varied contents online though not all I normally watch because I know what is good for me and for my development. There are many that quit their job and focused on content creation and today, they are stake holders and doing excellently well financially. Many normally take content monetization as just a means for passive income but I see it as a job. I know a story of a woman that resigned from her work in order to focus on content creation. After a while her husband joined her shortly the children were also recruited on board. Today, they have a duplex and living in their house.
Another impact that content creation does is in the area of influence. There are some people that weren't known or noticed before but because of content creation today, their level of influence has greatly improved and increased.
Content monetization can enable one to form a suitable and sustainable business that would withstand the test of time. Thank God for the COVID-19 that came and exposed some of us to some latent potential that were never taken seriously. Today many people were able to explore their God given talent via good content creation and monetization. I have countless individuals that online work pays off for them.
There are different contents that can be posted or monetized which includes; Podcasts, videos, affiliate marketing etc. Not all content is suitable for monetization and it's expedient that one considers the audience and quality of the content. Content monetization can build one and develop one's financial capabilities depends on how you are able to hold on. Many get discouraged along the way because they feel no motivation. It depends on how you see the side of the coin. Is content monetization the only means to make one lazy? Not at all. There surplus things that people do that makes lazy. If you see content as a means of passive income, your resilience and passion can't be compared with someone that sees it as a job. My perspective when I started writing wasn't just to make money but to add value to humanity. By God's grace I have achieved this on several occasions. Consistency is one of the differentiating factor. Content monetization is good but what's your motive?
