holidays taught me some important lessons

There will always be two possibilities in everything, even though we want perfect results but not always what we plan goes smoothly or according to what we expect, just like when you go somewhere for a vacation, when you want to go on vacation, surely everyone has planning and preparing everything so that their expectations will definitely want fun, satisfaction and comfort while on vacation, everyone must have such expectations, as well as myself, even though I always have high expectations when I go on vacation but sometimes I have to be disappointed with reality when I go on vacation. I got to a place that I visited.

So far in my calendar it always shows a red date, I don't have to care about Monday, where most of my friends have to go to work from Monday to Saturday, even some until Sunday, a few months ago I decided to take a vacation to a highland area, more precisely in Central Aceh District, Indonesia.

Initially because I was bored by the atmosphere at my place where every day I always met the same people and chairs and tables, so I decided to throw my boredom to another area, I was there for a week, many things I could feel there , the mountainous atmosphere really makes me comfortable, the air is very fresh, very different from the atmosphere where I live, every day I have to deal with dirty air pollution caused by non-stop vehicles, there I really feel at peace without the noisy noise of the vehicle noise, so far it is still the best vacation for me.

I also have a less pleasant experience when on vacation.

In 2019 I went out of town with my friend for a vacation, we had prepared everything for our needs there, at first everything was fine, until finally everything fell apart when we were there, my friend suddenly wanted to go home and would not continuing the vacation, he said that he had to go home for reasons that could not be explained to me, finally I told him to go home and I would stay there and spend time alone.

Unfortunately my friend pleaded with me, he didn't dare to go home alone because the journey was quite far, he asked me to also go home with him, it really made me angry, after such a complicated argument I finally followed his will because I felt sorry, and finally we came back to our city and the vacation we had planned long ago fell apart and was filled with deep disappointment.

What lessons did I learn?

I have said this in my previous post, I prefer to travel alone, wherever and whenever, because of what? Yes, as I explained above, for me it's okay when I have to feel disappointment because of my own decision than I have to bear disappointment due to someone else's decision, it really hurts.

Not everything will go according to our plan if there are two opposing opinions, and one more thing that I have learned, whatever the plan, I will not set my expectations too high because that will make you disappointed.
