Beijing 2022 also known as the XXIV Olympic Winter Games has officially kicked off. The most anticipated Winter Games started on the 4th February and is expected to come to an end by the 20th of February .It comes after Beijing was chosen to be the host city at the 128th IOC Session in Kuala Lumpur in 2015 after defeating Almaty by voting.
It is the first time, China is hosting the winter games and that would increase the tally of Olympics held by China to two. China would be the first country to host both the summer and winter Olympics, holding both in the largest city in the world.
The Beijing Winter Games is expected to utilise twenty six venues including training venues.The motto of the Olympics is "Together for a shared Future". The Olympic Games has a total of 91 countries namely;
