That's really scary.... Your dad was really fortunate.
Honestly what kills faster is fear and when we are scared we tend to act before we think.
Up until today because of the way I react to things my parent and siblings don't tell me bad news..
But this is just life there will both good and bad we need to brace ourselves to accept even the worst.

I understand you, everyone is born with different ways of reacting to bad news. I also get scared of it too.
Yeah it's life and we just have to train our minds to be stronger.
