⛳⛳Opportunity Rule: Inspire and Demoralize Is The Best⛳⛳

in Hive Learnerslast year (edited)

Hello @splinterlands lovers how are you doing today? Hope you are enjoying your battle in @splinterlands.
I like to read some of the battle secrets posts before posting my own battle; this is to get more skills about how others arranged their monsters and to know the reason for using specific summoner.
I watched a battle where the players used two monsters with double strikes- Grund and Katrelba Gobson. The exciting part of the battle was that Katrelba Gobson is a bloodlust monster. When it killed two monsters, all the stats increased, the melee increase from 2 to 6.
Seriously speaking the player is very intelligent; he used martyr monster in as the second monster which was between the Grund and Katrelba Gibson.
The first attack his opponent attacked, he attacked monster with a martyr and that increased the stats of first and third monsters in lineup.
It was a fantastic arrangement.

This week, we are given the privilege to talk about a 'opportunity rule' so that new players can learn from it. Those days when there were no martyr monsters, I made use of heavy monsters and monsters with higher melee. Well! It also depends on the mana given in a battle; when a higher mana is given, I have the opportunity of using higher mana monster and when lower mana is given, I used monsters with lower mana to accommodate more monsters.

When opportunity rule is given, monsters with lower health are attacked first in this battle. This made me to think of the best ways to win opportunity battles and they are:
Speed: one of the keys of winning opportunity rule battles is speed. If a player uses speed monsters, such a player may have a chance of winning the battle. I have played many opportunity battles, and I understood the difference between speed monsters and monsters with lower speed.
I encountered a player that used high level summoner and monsters against me, just because I used monsters with high speed, I was able to win the battle.

Taunt monsters: This one of my strategies when given opportunity rule; this is because a taunt monster must be first eliminating in the battle before attacking other monsters. Before taunt monster was eliminated, more damage was done to opponent monsters.

I used Demoralize and Inspire monsters: demoralize reduces opponent melee attack, and inspire increases all friendly monsters +1 melee.

When I have the opportunity to use magic monsters, I love to use the Kraken and other magic monsters. While opponent monsters would be attacking Kraken, my monsters were attacking monsters with lower health directly without attacking armor. This is the reason I love using magic to attack monsters.

🌌🌌RULESET♨️♨️

Equal Opportunity: All monsters have the Opportunity ability.

Up Close and Personal: Only monsters with melee attack may be used in the battle.
According to this rule, only monsters with melee attack was allowed in this battle. There was no way for magic or range monsters to be used. Therefore, the best strategy for me was to use demoralize and inspire; that was the best strategy to win the battle.
I wanted to use death summoner so that I could use Djinn chwala; I realized that Djinn Chwala had higher number of health which would be the reason it won’t be attack at first until those monsters with lower health are eliminated.

🌌🌌BATTLE ARRANGEMENT♨️♨️
Uriel The Purifier

Splinter: Legendary Life monster
Level: 1⭐
Abilities
-flying
-recharge
Uriel The Purifier☄️ is one of the best monsters that could lead the battle due to its abilities. Though, this monster could attack in any position based of the rule of this battle; but the flying which could evade melee and rage attack, and recharge ability with heavy damage made me placed it in the first position.
I knew it would be very hard for Uriel the Purifier☄️ to be eliminated because of the armor and health.
The recharge ability was a vital weapon to destroy opponent monster massively, you could when it attacked Chain Golem🌬️; despite of the shield ability of Chain Gole🌬️, Uriel damaged 5 health with just an attack; when opponent Disintegrator was eliminated, 6 health was damaged from Chain Golem🌬️. few monsters could do that such damage just like the way Uriel did. If not because of the Shied ability of Chain Golem🌬️; attacking a monster without shield ability will result to 12 health damage. Is that not incredible? That was the reason I used it in this battle.

Luminous Eagle

Splinter: Life
Level: 2
Ability: Flying

Luminous Eagle🦅 is necessary because of it speed and ability to evade melee and range attack. Its speed made it to attack faster in this battle.
It was not necessary to use this monster in its natural position in this battle; opportunity rule allow any monster to be used in any position; to avoid losing this battle, it was important for me to use Luminous Eagle 🦅in the second position.
I also knew that the 4 melees would be very instrumental in this battle.

Silvershield Knight

Splinter: Life
Level: 1⭐⭐
Ability: Inspire⛳
Silvershield Knight⛳ was very important for me; without this Silvershield Knight,⛳ Uriel the Purifier and Luminous Eagle🦅 melee would have reduced to 2, and Disintegrator, Silvershield Assassin and Shieldbearer melee would have reduced to 1; which would have made me to lose hope in winning the battle because my attack would have be weak so the extend I won’t be able to destroyed a monster from my opponent before all my monsters would have been eliminated.

Disintegrator

Splinter: Neutral
Level: 3
Ability: Demoralize
It was very clear that it was a melee battle- only melee monsters were allowed, no other monster. Therefore, demoralize ability was very important to reduce the opponent melee monsters in this battle.
This got me thinking of using disintegrator to reduce and inspire to increase which worked perfectly for me. You could see that my opponent that used Demoralize monster without inspire monster could not withstand my monsters. If my opponent uses inspire ability, the battle could be 60% to 40% in favor of him because he used 2 melee monsters with heavy attack which is Sea monster and Sandworm.

Silvershield Assassin

Splinter: Life
Level: 3⭐⭐⭐
Ability:
-Double strike
-Sneak
Attacking from behind was part of my strategy to destroy monsters from the back; but my opponent was very wise. He used monster with healing ability in the back-end of the battle.
My calculation was that with Silvershield knight⛳ in my lineup which increase friendly monsters +1, I though Silvershiedl Assassin would have 3 melee which would have damaged 6 health in each round. Without opponent disintegrator, Silvershield Assassin would have been a nightmare to opponent monsters from behind.

🔺Shieldbearer

Splinter: Life
Level: 2⭐⭐
Ability: Taunt
Without the taunt ability in this battle, Luminous Eagle🦅 would have been first eliminated because it was among the monsters with lowest health. The Taunt ability made it difficult for opponent monsters to attack other monsters until Sheidlbearer🔺 was eliminated in this battle.
Sheildbearer🔺 was able to reached 3rd round before it was eliminated; and two monsters were already destroyed from opponent lineup.
The elimination of Disintegrator opened the door of massive attack to all my monsters.

In conclusion, the opportunity rule could be very simple; yet, it is a technical rule that requires a player to carefully think before making a move to select monsters. It is a battle that is sweet to use retaliated and thorn's ability monsters.
