So awesome to see you both having a good time together despite the challenges you faced of having no electricity. Maybe soon, you will get to meet again and do the things you were not able to during your friend's visit :)

We hope to meet again soon. The thing, however, is that I am going to be in a far away state for the next one year in service to my country. It's part why I wanted him to come around.

I have been deployed already, actually—to a place that's far from what I desired. I only came home to be with my family for a few weeks, since I just left the orientation camp and we had been given a break.
Oh... well you will meet again then after your assignment :) 1 year will go quickly hehe.
