If there isn't your parents with you, there is no one to protect you. It may sound harsh but it's the reality. I have seen some situation which is almost similar to you and so I can understand a little bit about it. I think you have taken the right decision to escape away from there.
It's not good that you could relate to my story but I guess that proves that life happens to us all.
Escaping was the only way out and I'm glad we got the opportunity to 🙂.
