Hello Hive Learners Family!!!

I hope you are doing well and enjoying your day. I'm history teacher that's why my analysis and research about historical events is deep. It's easy to express our opinion about any current affairs based on happenings around the world. I'm so excited to share my views about HL Weekly Featured Content topic "History Repeat" for the week 171 episode 2.

Around 20 millions people lost their life in World War I (1914-1918) and human loss in World War II(1939-1945) was approximately 85 millions. Monetary and infrastructure loss was also huge. After both war international bodies i.e League of Nations and United Nations emerged to balance the power and maintain peace and prosperity among different part of the world.

Analysing current tension between Israel, Palestine, Iran, America it is obvious that history is going to repeat once again. I had been read about wars in books and war stories. Pakistan fought 3-4 wars with India. I admired those who bravely fought for their nations. In May, 2025 during Indo- Pak War, my experience changed my perspective. India launched military operation Sindoor against Pakistan. Missile were launched in the civilian regions. It was exactly 3 O'clock when I received my uncle call who was is Murdiky city where missile hit civilian regions.
It might be normal to say that these are number of people were killed in war but it's tragic to see our love ones suffer in these circumstances.

Later on Pakistan military operation Bunyan al Marsus for defense was launched for counter attack. Both countries might cheering their military for killing opponent but we must realized that it's a loss of human life. The blood shed in war is human blood.

It's an nuclear war era. The world is on the verge of global war which will be the end of human life of earth. There are many international disputes among countries of the world that United Nations has been failed to solve. We need an impactful charter of United that implement peace and promote cooperation and trade among countries of the world. Purpose of states shouldn't be to secure the national interest but the global peace and prosperity.

“If you want peace, you don’t talk to your friends. You talk to your enemies.” ~Desmond Tutu

Leaders choose to negotiate their dispute under United Nations observation. Whether it's Israel illegal claim on Palestine or Indus Water Treaty between India and Pakistan its should be resolved justly on negotiation table.

Say no to war. It leaves nothing behind but graves and grief.
