It is not an opportunity to feel yourself and show yourself or probably show off expensive and luxurious things. Though being famous comes with so many challenges including your privacy and peace of mind.
The moment you become famous, bloggers will carry your story whether you like it or not so be mindful of what you put out on social media. It takes a lot to keep your privacy, everyone wants to know your personal life. Some will take it upon themselves to dig out things about others like it's their job. Some will use fake news just so they can taint other people's image.
For instance, let's talk about the “fish pie guy” who went viral because of his business, the way he hacked his fish pie and his soprano voice but instead of using that to leverage on making more fish pie opening up a restaurant to make massive production of his fish pie business. Expand it to various locations and sell it in big events since celebrities are patronizing him instead he decided to be funny. Which wasn't his talent. His jokes dry and everyone began to withdraw from him. It is good when you don't allow others to use your brain.
There is so much noise in social media why not leverage that noise to be a passive income for you. Give people what they want to see and in turn make money out of them. Sit right in the corner of your house with an orange juice and laugh heartily at their negative comments. Most of these celebrities make money on facebook with content creation which is always updated and me with my little data will be giving off hate for someone who is making money out of my data.
Level up is part of the game but make sure you're doing it well. Not in this digital age, nobody knows what content creation is all about. Create content with your business and allow people to watch and give you the money.
For my family, I will gladly keep it private. For me, being famous will be a great opportunity for me to sell my products and make more income from it. No need of chasing clout or validation.
Furthermore, you need to guide your emotions, being famous comes with so much attention including fake friends. You will be the center of attention, but the moment you realize nobody cares about you but the value you put out there, the better and with that you can chase any negative comments and be mentally stable to overcome every ill comment because it will surely come. Not everyone will like you and not everyone will be happy for you so some will want to bring you down but stand strong.
In conclusion, being famous is an opportunity that should be used right.
