RE: Consciousness: A Mental Alertness In A Bid Grow & Develop

in Hive Learners3 years ago

I think training the mind is one of the most difficult things out there. Just like people who have anger issues. I Know it's easy to for people like this to think their anger issues is who they are, but this isn't true. Anger is something we cannot completely eradicate but train ourselves to curtail and manage and self scrutiny is one of the ways to actually understand this.

Just like you said, some people will justify their anger, but they'll never have it when it's meted against them

Exactly. @justfavour has mentioned many times he used to have anger issues, but I’m still in disbelief because personally, I feel like he’s a very calm and peaceful person in control of his emotions. He then explained how it took a lot of work to reach that state of calmness and control over his anger.

Emotions are never a reason to justify lashing out. We’re conscious beings for a reason. Our consciousness is what distinguishes us from other classes of animals and creatures around. Hard as it is, we surely can train our minds.

I do think that somebody can have anger issues and still manage to appear calm because they have been trying to control or curtail it. This is a proof or evidence of effort and also a manifestation of awareness and consciousness of one's true self.
The people who try to work on them are the true heroes. It takes a lot for people to self scrutinize themselves and decide to do the right thing.
