Welcome to my daily blog for today on the hl-w211e1 prompt about country minimum wage.
Minimum wage is a very big challenge so many countries, it has really kept it citizen workers at a low wage rate that affects their daily living most especially those that have families and those that their parental Borden are on them .
Many of the citizens have really suffered alot in this issue of minimum wage .
Before now the minimum wage of my country has really Kept people under a thing of concern and at a time the have no choice than to protest for a renewal and increment of the minimum wage . This always happen in any tenor of a new government (president) where civil servant protest for increment of the minimum wage sometimes it works and sometimes it does not work ,though of recent Nigerian own worked where the thing was increased to 70k but this is mainly at the federal level meanwhile in some state and some areas in the country,the new minimum wage has not been implemented most especially by some governors of the states , it is just few states that implemented their own .
But with bitterness in some civil servant and the citizens the so called increment is nothing compared to what the country is generating as income through so many resources for example,through oil and through the taxes also that they collect from the citizens.
The tax the collect is really enough to increase that minimum wage to at least 200 000 .at least if it is increased to that most people (it's citizens) will really live a comfortable life .
This period thing are really hard people upon being a worker they still suffer because of the minimum wage that they are being placed on .
Here if they minimum wage should be lifted at least it will reduce some things because currently now people are suffering. Tension everywhere because of family challenges and so many other things.
The country minimum wage is not really helping matters at all and this is why some individuals are really leaving the country going to another country for a better life.
Many medical professionals have left Nigeria for their own good reason because the minimum wage does not suite what the are really passing through in the profession.
Many will say the profession is a profession of passion is not all about money ,my dear money is among because that person will not eat passion,he has to also chase his daily living to also survive .
To be honest the minimum wage here is not really enough in what people are going through now .
People are really going through a lot which minimum wage is part of it , the major problem of people now most especially the ones working under people (organisation) is money .
Some people before the month even runs out they have borrowed money that is equal to the salary they earn.
