So I'll go personal here, I've been depressed and suicidal, motivational talks didn't help and in my case, most people didn't notice it but what helped was people just being there; not saying anything per say but knowing that I had people to live for who loved me helped a lot.

Yes, you had something but the case is different when it comes to people who have no one. There are people in very critical situations. In that scenario, they are highly suicidal...

You can't help people who are suicidal unless they want help, even with people around, I still tried over and over, it takes a lot of self-reflection

Trust me, money wouldn't cure depression, most times it's so unexplainable and deep rooted
Yeah, that is if the problem doesn't come from the poverty aspect. but if it comes from losing someone or from a spiritual level, then helping such a person would be tough to help.
Depression isn't about losing someone or spiritual level though, it's deeper most times.
