Happy New week family, welcome to another edition of the Hive Learners engagement contest where we'll be talking on
I'll start by saying talent and hard work really need to go together because in a case where talent is present but without hard work being put in place, there'll be slimmer chances of achieving much from your God given talent and in cases too where all you focus on is hard work you tend to exhaust much and achieve less because of lack of creativity (talent) - I have been opportuned to work in an environment where hard work was really needed, and i can tell that i achieved more than some person's because of my little extra talent i was adding to my work, while others where basing all on hardwork
Times did evolve for me as i strived to have more because what my hardwork was bringing for me was not really benefiting to my satisfaction, and at the current moment I'm focusing on two field of work that really does require talent, so I'll say talent goes for me. Not that i don't strive for more by working hard though, but i focus more on my talent and when i add a little more effort it just produces wonderful results for me
I am a mobile technician and an electrical engineer by profession but that's at the moment because those weren't even the courses i studied while in school, but we all can relate to how things can really get as a Nigerian. I don't know what the future may hold but i still dream of going to the Sea, and that's really a place where I'll put in more of hard work while working there. But if all things still has to be equal if my current businesses are lucrative then I'm not sure if finding another, after all we are all working either smart or hard just for the money
I'm not disputing the fact that hard work shouldn't be implemented though, but everyone has what works for them and if it is to be compared, the ones who works smart (apply talent) earns more and work less. In my line of work i can get allot done in a short time and make real good money. There was a day someone told me how much he makes from his job on a daily basis, i multiplied the earning by a week then by a month and i was like how does this guy even meet up with his bills?
And there's a tendency and saying that goes that people excel more in the area they are gifted and that is where Talent beats all, because you can just feel the free flow of work within you and sometimes while applying your natural talent, work becomes very easy to do also
CONCLUSIVELY
One should not judge himself with others based on earning means, because what actually works for one may not work for the other. I have met people that were like zero talented in almost everything they touch but today, hardwork has stood for them and also I've met allot of gifted (TALENTED) individuals who's winning it all as well, so one has to check the scale properly and avoiding emulating others while their destiny is far from the ones they try to emulate
The above written are a compilation of what works for me and can or can't be practiced by everyone, so let's be properly guided
Thanks allot for coming around, without readers and supporters it would be impossible to have the Blockchain running. So your comment contributions and corrections are welcomed on this one and till next time stay safe @khingstan Cares 🤴✌️
I agree with the saying people excel more in the area they are gifted. Comparing it to those excelling in a random area of work. sometimes money isn't even the reward here compared with the peace and happiness in doing what you love.
And it comes with allot of fulfilment too, doing something that is at ease with you just brings massive result. Thanks allot for stopping by ✌️❤️
Both talent and hard work is needed to achieve a result. Both prove to be each others backbone and as such, has to be placed on equal value. But in a case where you lack the talent for a particular field of work, just continue to work hard and also put your interest in it. Though the results will not be as good as it would have been if there was a backup talent, your hard work will surely pay off.
Nice post @khingstan 👍👍👍.
Thanks allot @nkemakonam89 for the sound response, we just hope for more that we can do with our hands easily...
It's a pleasure 😘
Relying solely on talent, and not trying to work at it or improve is a sure recipe for stunted growth. As long as we include hard work, only then are we going to be able to really make it.
Thank you for sharing this with us.
That's for sure brother, thanks for stopping by ✌️❤️
