We all have that one person we run to if we need help with anything—it must not be financial help. A social network is important if one wants to succeed in life.

I will be sharing a story of how a man's social network helped him.
Mr. Peter is a businessman who owns a poultry farm. His business was not doing well; his birds were in good condition, but he couldn't just get customers to buy them.
On this fateful day, he met one of his high school friends, and they got to talk and share some jokes together. Mr. Peter informed Mr. Brown that he is in the poultry business. Mr. Brown informed his friend he just bought 100 birds for his dad's burial.
Mr. Peter exchanged his business card with Mr. Brown.
After some days, Mr. Brown called Mr. Peter and informed him that a colleague of his needed about 100 birds. Mr. Peter was excited about it. He was going to make his first sale after so many months.
This was the beginning of better things. When Mr. Peter delivered the birds to his clients, they were amazed at the size of the birds and how they tasted.
After some weeks, Mr. Peter's phone rang, and it was one of the biggest fast food chains in town. They wanted Mr. Peter to be the sole supplier of chicken to their branches. This was a major breakthrough for Mr. Peter.
Our circle of friends matters in life. I believe that a person's social network also determines his or her worth. We must have a circle of friends who will come through for us when we need help.
If we are in business, we must connect with people who will help our business grow and also connect us with other people.
Sometimes I see a group of friends who can't add value to each other. We need to connect with people who can add value to our lives. Friendship must be beneficial in some sense. I can't imagine doing business, and my friends cannot make referrals.
In today's world, social networking is very important if one wants to grow in any aspect of life or field of endeavor.
One needs to position himself in the right circle. Imagine I'm into selling cars; I have to position myself among other car dealers or even possible clients.
In social networking, one must be ready to meet people from both the upper and lower classes of society.
There are certain things your friends in the lower cadre of society can offer, so one must not completely write them off.
What I have learned so far in life is that one needs to have good people around. It's not about having friends; it's about having friends who are willing to help and support you when you need them.
You can surround yourself with lots of friends, yet none of them show up for you when you need them to. When it comes to social networking, it's more about quality than quantity.
I have learned that quality friends matter a lot in life; they will help you go far in life and achieve a lot.
Be it any network they all disappear when money matters. Thats how friends are. You have to accept it this way and use them for your own gains. Thats how a businessman should think. No Online Mentor is not going to teach you this. they too are there to make money and not share secrets. This one learns by experience. Failures are the best teachers. You can get depressed and leave if you fail or pursue it and learn from your failures and rebound with double force the choice is yours.
Very true that we learn from experience. I believe that failure has a greater lesson to teach us.
A loyal friend stays through the good and bad times, money or no money.
That's very correct and I agree with you. Quality over quantity is very important. Making friends that doesn't contribute or add any value is not helpful in any way. I love the story you started with, it has lots of lessons.
Thank you for reading, most people think it's about having a thousand friends, yet the friends are of no value.
You are welcome. It's not it at all.
