This is my entry to the 4th task in the newbie initiative. Every bit of this scheme is making sense and I'm loving it. This particular task is a challenging one and I need to face it and beat it...the people that are doing it don't have two heads😂.
The task is all about knowing the basics frontend in hive and their uses.
Before now, I've been running away from some frontend because I wasn't ready to stress my brain on learning them but this task has helped me to know about them and I'm thankful.
List of some of the basic dApps
Ecency: This frontend is so good because of its features. The popular and most enchanting feature is its points which we earn when using the frontend via publishing, rebloging and upvote. This point is not tradable though but you can use it to promote or boost an article. You can as well as gift it out to friends...yeah, make it a Christmas gift this season🤩.
Peakd: This frontend is good as well, it gives a quick access on the performance your account. The writing template is dope💯.
Hive.blog: This is the father of them all, the original frontend for hive blockchain but recently, people are now fond of using the "children"(peakd, ecency and others) and leaving the parent.
3speak: This is the dApp for uploading video on the hive blockchain. It's just like the YouTube version of hive blockchain.
Liketu: This is a social media app like Instagram which encourages publishing of photos. The photos published here are automatically touched by the dApp's logo(watermark)
And others such as;
- Leofinance community
- Neoxag community
Etc
Among all of these, I fell in love with ecency and we'll get married soon🥰.

Wow, you were really fast on this task... You came prepared and straightforward. That's great! I also like using Ecency, it's a really nice Dapp but I prefer using peakD to post. It's become a habit plus the templates are mad 🔥, like you said.
Ummm... I think it's working due to how we got addicted to them. I've been using ecency and I'm used to it.
