Good day everyone! This is going to be 14th week of the Hive Learners Prominent Author Of The Week campaign.
So What is The Prominent Author of The Week About?
The aim of the Prominent Author of the Week is to reward five great contents of authors shared from our weekly prompts in the community. This way, we get to encourage authors to be more active and try to be the best they can be in their content creation.
How Would The Initiative Run?
- 5 Posts/Authors would be selected from the weekly prompts (including creative sunday posts) every week
- Every Thursday night, we would be sharing announcements for the five winning authors
- All five selected authors would be rewarded with 1 Hive each
Different paths, Different Strengths
This author, @terganftp talks about learning and how much time it takes him to learn new things especially if there isn't a manual to learn. He also talks about his kids who are both unique in their own ways, he says his eldest can figure things out himself quickly and make them work, while his youngest has good people skills, both of which the author finds difficult to do.
Few screen time reducing tricks
This author, @intishar talks about his screen time and gives us a breakdown of how much time he spends in front of a screen daily, depending on if he's busy or free that day. He also tells us how Ramadan has been able to reduce his screen time because he spends most of his time praying and reading the Quran.
This author, @kushyzee talks about the one time he felt he was treated poorly in school and got cheated out of his grade after putting in all the work, due to corruption in his school. He tells us how that affected him afterwards and made him no longer feel like working hard because just like before, he could still get cheated.
I made a beautiful long floral comfy dress with front slit
This author, @glorydee shows us how she was able to make this beautiful dress, one she calls a flowing dress. She made sure to explain all of the steps she had taken in making this very beautiful dress.
This author, @ykdesign gives us a video tutorial on how to photoshop a city under water. According to the author, it doesn't matter if you have experience with photoshop or not, all you have to do is follow their instructions and your edit will come out perfect.
