Good day everyone! This is going to be 98th week of the Hive Learners Prominent Author Of The Week campaign.
So What is The Prominent Author of The Week About?
The aim of the Prominent Author of the Week is to reward five great contents of authors shared from our weekly prompts in the community. This way, we get to encourage authors to be more active and try to be the best they can be in their content creation.
How Would The Initiative Run?
- 5 Posts/Authors would be selected from the weekly prompts (including creative sunday posts) every week
- Every Thursday night, we would be sharing announcements for the five winning authors
- All five selected authors would be rewarded with lazy-panda curation trail upvotes.
Brazil: a land of love and chaos!
In this blog, this author @shiftrox talks about his country Brazil. The author tells us about some of the good things about his country and the things people from the outside love about it. The author talks about the people of Brazil and how they always have a smile on their faces no matter the condition they're in, he talks about their love for football. The author also goes further to talk about the bad side of things too, one of it being the corrupt politicians that the country has.
Reviving the Spirit of Passion in a Profit-Driven Era
In this blog, this author @zoe01 gives us their thoughts on why they think most people only focus on the money aspect of things and not the passion for that thing. The author tells us of how most of this mindset starts with our parents trying to force us into studying courses we have no passion for, simply because it pays better. The author goes further to talk about ways they feel some of these problems could be solved.
This author @justfavour also talks about how people have exchanged passion for a job for money. The author talks about education and how most teachers only care about the money you're giving to them and have no passion for teaching. The author also talks about hospitals and how most of these doctors and nurses care less about human lives, and would only treat you after you've deposited money into their accounts.
