I love this...
And of a truth omiting some part of the truth can be to protect someone, but then again when the whole truth comes out, it might hurt too. Same way also the whole truth being told at first can break as well, so I very well agree that lies of omission sometimes are done with good intentions.
What should be considered is the intention behind it, even the whole truth could be told with bad intentions...

    It's a complicated situation, we have to find the balance between hiding and telling the truth, but I think that's kind of how it is. Sometimes we hide things because we want to protect the other person and not ourselves, so I think that's the more forgivable side of the story.

    But I totally agree that it's always good to tell the truth as much as possible in all cases where it's possible.
