Nowadays, people prefer online shopping because they have the feeling that it's less stressful and easy. If one should log in to any social media, we see different people marketing their products online so that people will patronize them, of course, a good number of people prefer shopping online because of a known reason or personal reason. If I should Ask everyone about their preference when it comes to shopping, I'm going to get different answers from individuals, because someone's meat might be your poison.
My shopping preference
Despite the advantages of shopping online, I still prefer to shop in-store because of some reasons, which I can also term as an advantage of in-store shopping;
Examining the product physically
There's this peace of mind I have when I'm buying a product from a store because I'll know exactly what I'm getting, but buying things online will make me feel shaky because I might end up not getting exactly what I want.
This made me recall a time I ordered a handbag and a pair of Jean trouser online, it's true that I did not pass through the stress of going to a store before getting it, but I did not get what I wanted. The picture of the handbag I saw online was bigger, but the one I got was Smaller. Online shopping can be deceptive Sometimes 😂, the trouser too was bigger so I have to take it to a tailor for adjustment because returning it is not possible. Since then I prefer to get my stuff myself for a proper check and I examine the quality of the item.
Instant Purchase
I don't have to wait for what I want to buy in-store shopping. When I see what I want in a store, I pay for it and have it Immediately, I don't have to wait for two or more days for my Item to arrive. It's so alluring for me to leave a store with my purchase, but in online shopping, there's nothing like instant gratification.
Good communication
There's a clear difference when you communicate in person with the person you're getting your items from in a store. You'll get to discuss what you need with a knowledgeable sales subordinate and you'll get a good explanation on the item you want to get and this will clear your doubt about what you chose to buy.
Safety
There are lots of people selling their items online, but out of the majority of people selling items online, there are also some hackers and people who will rip-off our money without getting the items. I'm writing from experience, It happens to a friend of mine who ordered clothes online, that's not her first time buying things online, but she decided to order from an online shop that is not well known, she feels it's cheaper but she ends up not getting her items after paying...she tried calling their number, but they have blocked her line, it's painful and she swore never to try it again. Some people might be fortunate about online shopping, but it's a "NO" for me. There's no risk of online fraud and security issues in in-store shopping.

I am not convicting online shopping, there's nothing bad with it, both in-store and online shopping has their advantaged and disadvantage, but individuals has their preference because we perceive things from different angles

Yeah, shopping online is not bad, but just like I said, individual have their preference according to the experiences...just like me, the experience I have made me love in-store shopping.
Yeah I strongly agree with you when you shop physical you will get to check what you are buying on like online that they will just bring anything for you
Sometimes, you'll feel like crying when you get your items online, because the item that was delivered to you will totally be different with you saw online... some people are not just honest with their online shop.
Thank you so much, the shop in store is the best for me too. Majority of wears they sell online, the texture are always somehow for me and most time they aren't ones size. I use online sales most time when it's their promo sales to buy gadgets
exactly, even, you'll have the chance to test what you want to buy, especially shoes... I will also have the room to compare what I want to buy with other product....
And even the gadget they sell, most times, they give you a fake item even when you pay for the original one...and that's very bad...

I do 100% online shopping unless I'm sure of getting what I want from a particular shop. I'm too lazy to go through the stress. I've never had that experience tho, though I've heard from so many people who buy things online and it looks different from reality😆.
Yeah, some people have not experience any disadvantage of shopping online, hence you'll see they'll find no fault with it.....I believe online shopping goes well for you, and I know you've been enjoying the system.
Yeah, some people have gotten a bad experience from online shopping, but you'll not know how it's feels like, not untill you experience it too, but I never wish you experience it..☺️
