History is mostly told by those who are victorious, it is very difficult to see a loser telling history. So because of days we can strongly believe that history are mostly in some cases is said, in favor of the history Teller. No doubt, we have heard a lot of stories. Yes!! I said we have had a lot of stories because history, is a story, told, that happened in the past. We also hear people say I will create history in this place, that's Simply Means that he or she is about to is going to create someone that people we remember and talk about it... If you come to think about it, realize that life itself is a history, because it's a continuous process of living, yesterday becomes the history of today and today will become the history of tomorrow and live still continue moving.
Some histories that are being told to us, if we take time to look into red deeply, realize that many of them are more of imaginations are not really what happened is that way. I want to think of it if I want to tell a history that I am involved in it, I will definitely say it in a way I will look as the Hero and the victorious one in the space of the history. Therefore it is important to pay attention to details of History, make researches about it to confirm how authentic it is and how true history are. It is not just about hearing history, but knowing what the history has to contribute, why it become a history Worth telling.
History can be in different form, it can be in political form of history, social form of history, Military form of history, Cultural form of history and so on. In everything you do make sure you set a good history that people can visit and be proud of visiting it.
From Nigeria and we have had a lot of history about political and Military. Talking about military histories, talk about the Second world war II, between the biafrans and the Nigerian. A lot of histories have been told about this and we tend to believe those who have more stronger points than others. The story is always tell in a way we'll believe that the Nigeria soldiers fought so well that they were able to win. Then if you hear from the biafrans who was defeated, they will create excuses that they were not able to win the war because they were sabotage by their own person who lick the secrets they have in their location.
I just pick up this part to tell you or clarify you that some histories are telling in favor of the setting set of persons in as much as in every history there is an atom of Truth, therefore for us to detect the truth in the history we have to ask both side and be neutral while taking final decision, by so doing this you'll be able to stay clear without joining a side and be able to know the history into core.
I love your stance in this Mayor, I did the due diligence of speaking to people on eye witness account concerning the Biafra war. The thing is the singular act of Ojokwu both before and after the war says alot of what the actual truth is
It's so difficult for human beings to take on the task of telling a story without prejudice, ego, mania for grandeur, or inferiority complexes...
