Many people today have been stuck with their family and friends simply because of love and care. Many did not achieve what they wanted to achieve or what they have planned to achieve, all because they are considering family and how it will hurts the family if they leave just like that. So, that made them to stay stuck with the family, but can let other friends who are not in line with their dreams and go out of the lives. It is pretty difficult to make decisions especially when it has to do with your family and loved ones. But, bitter truth is, if you are able to make difficult decisions rightly you will prosper in life. We all love our family and it is very difficult and rare to see someone, who do not love his or her family unless something critical might have happened but you can't see someone who just hates or dislike he or her family, just like that.
Pretty question I have to ask first is, what is letting go? Letting go in my own understanding is, the point in life where you personally decided and agreed to lose some things, it can either be for good or for bad, although in most cases letting go of situations and persons, are always for the betterment of a reason. As we all believe that it is very easy to let go of a friend than a family member, then why is it difficult to let go of a family if they are contradicting to the purpose and your positive life dreams and goals. It is pretty difficult also to just decide that those dreams and goals are positive ones. I can be wanting something and apparently I might not know it is not good for me, and family are directly or indirectly trying to stop me from achieving that which will hurt me later, honestly I will see it as they are standing against my success, but you didn't they already know it's won't led to success.
This is where the work comes in not just letting go, the challenge is that meaning of us have let go of good people when we are trying to satisfy our own self or trying to achieve that which would think and assume is the right thing for us. If you are able to define that the Goal, Dream, Personal Growth, are all positive road that will lead to success, then I will say it is never a wrong idea to cut family off.
Even Christians have it written in the Bible, for you to be successful in life, first thing is that you have to live the comfort of your home. When you leave the comfort of your home, you are automatically leaving family and every other person behind, just you against the world. Now some people we say that here you are not cutting off your family, yes I know you are not cutting off your family but you are working away from them, to be successful. It is called personal growth for a reason, when some something that will make you cut off the family if they are not in line with your success and you are very sure it is a positive one, then there's no need to keep stuck with them, thinking that you will make it in life, sometime that I don't even know.
Not every one will see life your way and that's the main reason you should not accommodate everyone as a Young Man or Young Lady that is trying to build his or her life. When you are growing, not just in weight and height, but also in experiences of life, building something great, trying to achieve your goals and purpose, everyone is not necessary in your life, including your family. The one bitter truth is that, cut off those who are not in the right direction with you and your Growth, when you are successful in life, bring them back, especially family, because you can't do without them, I mean family is the Best.
The natural attachment of human beings makes every decision complex to make.

There are people one don't need to bring back because they have the ability to destroy what one suffered for years and don't feel anything about it.
