At times it's always funny how people think certain things should look like. We are humans by the way and our sense of reasoning differs due to the level of exposure we have. So this most of the time is the basis of any agreement or disagreement to situation and matters. My bias for this prompt is of two sides but I will dwell on the one I feel is more convenient to talk about. I also feel whichever opinion anyone chooses as regards this prompt is not incorrect.

Going to school is very important in this part of the world I belong to. And getting good grades is even more important as the case may be now. Because this is the society's true measure to know if you're intelligent or not. And if you cannot do either of the two or even both, you're probably a dullard who doesn't know what he's doing. You could even be tagged a failure because you know nothing about school or academics, and have also refused to go to school.

Education Can Activate Your Intelligence Score

I am of the opinion that going to school (and probably having good grades) can help an individual's level of intelligence in so many ways. Because the special type of exposure you get from school will not be gotten anywhere else. I totally agree that some things I was able to learn and know on my own without being taught by anyone was possible simply because I am educated. All of those things are helping me in my daily activities today. Even though the major role school has to play is impacting academic knowledge in you. All other things are minor.

But being educated will play a big role in how one can easily assimilate new things. And assimilation is a mental action. Intelligence is also a mental action. But assimilation precedes intelligence and being in a school environment will quickly initiate these traits because studying is a constant mental activity and the repetition of it helps improve your level of intelligence.

If we take a deep look at what INTELLIGENCE truly means, it's not limited to the four walls of school. Anyone who has the capacity of mind to learn and understand basic principles of life and other new things, acquire knowledge from it and also be able to put what was learnt into practice is an intelligent person. And learning new things is not limited to education alone. This could as well apply to any form of life.

Conclusion

Whatever the case may be, we all cannot go to school due to one reason or the other. I just feel that it's something that is completely impossible. But learning is constant and inevitable with or without school.

And if this is so, then intelligence should be a function of how much knowledge you've gathered over the period of years whether you're educated or not.
