All my life, I simply make things up as I go, impulsively getting things done or acquiring something. I think this had a lot to do with how I always think that I'm not worthy of having great or really cool ideas, others always seem to have better ideas than I ever could so I just go with what I've seen others do and it seemed to work.
I may have made a few plans in the past that I tried to follow through but I remember just how well I let people influence those plans that I always see it as a huge task to follow through with. I just preferred not stressing over planning and just go by the flow, it helped me hide my flaws since there was no need to act as the lead.

While that is changing now, I can't help but realised just how much would have changed for me and those around me if I had been more intentional in making plans so I don't just drift wherever the wind blows me to. Till this moment, I think most for the experiences I've had were not from a place of planning, they had just happened.
That said, I still believe there are times that allowing one self to just go by the flow and enjoy the moment is a good mental relaxation and would help one experience some firsts that could be needed for serious moments where planning is involved. One reason I've always run away from planning is the hard work to keep up that follows.
What I failed to realize for so long is that, "Planning is clarity and makes work easier to get done with little to no distractions". As much as I never bothered to make plans, it felt a lot easier to create plans when I realized the importance and it's been a game changer for how I spend my days. Nowadays, I plan clarity into my busy days.
It's still not a perfect practice but it's so fun and stress relieving to have a plan that I follow in getting things, especially the important ones done. Now, I can recognize distractions so easily and decide if to give it my attention or not. There are so many aspects of my life that I'm learning to make plans on for clarity on how I move, the learning continues while I put them into practice.
So yeah... I no longer go by the flow but I do the planning work to make the real work clear and easier to do. And from my little experience, planning is way better than having no plan at all.

The truth is that making a plan and actually following the plan is actually difficult and not so easy, for that reason I don't blame those who just go with the flow..
Lol you're right, it's not easy but it's because we make it seem so.
Hmmm! Intentionality helps us plan well. When we don't plan it means we are not intentional about what we want to do and most times we can't achieve more
That's true, planning changes the whole game.
Exactly, planning gives clarity to get things done appropriately with no distractions.
That's right.
