Through my engagement and love for sports, I have learned about different countries and their lifestyles, skills, and determination. Sport is more than just a game to me, it's really a great universal language that connects the world with each other, both young, old, children, men and women too.
I remember watching a Ballon d'or, video where they called a child like below 8 years to come and mention the countries and according to their flags, he mentioned all the countries tries accurately until it got to Portugal and the next thing he said was, Christiano Ronaldo, Can you imagine a country being hailed and recognized world wide by a single football player name. He brought the country into the limelight. Honestly, if it weren't about Ronaldo, I wouldn't hear about Portugal existing.
Sport is everything, and trust me, if there were no sports, countries would have been waging wars over misunderstandings, because there was no visual expression to talk about feelings and understanding how different countries react and joke. There might even have been consistent wars happening. I have always had this feeling that sport is the only thing that still stops people and countries from fighting a war. I have seen how countries respond to sport in their own ways, as well as with Africans and black Americans.
The Olympics, for example, have a very high population of people watching. I also watched the Olympics until they started to mix men's and women's games together. My favourite and undefeated game will be the World Cup and the NBA, but the World Cup stands out, because this is where countries come out and play with all of their lives and strength; this is always what looks outstanding, and people from different countries get to recognise these countries. Sometimes I wish I were the one on the field who would get recognised, but I am not skilled enough. I once saw a white country, I won't mention the name, where all their players are black, this is how desperate countries get to win this. Winning the World Cup is the biggest Achievement for a country, even though it is just an award, but the award has a bigger weight than we can imagine, and it has been running through the centuries.
Sport is never overrated, only someone who is not interested in fun will look at sport as irrelevant. I can tell you, some men can give their lives down for games and sports teams even though they have never seen them before, some even players. This is really interesting to look at and watch.
I enjoy watching sports not because I gained an interest in it at first, but because everyone around me often talked about sports and I find it really interesting. The way they hail during games, how they respond to the games and also joke with players.
Sport is life, it is one of the reasons there is still unity in countries and also one of the reasons we get recognised in these countries. Never underestimate sports games.

I also saw that video online, reaching Portugal's flag he said Ronaldo.
You’re so right, sports truly bring people together, no matter where they come from. That Ronaldo example made me smile, it’s funny how one player can make the whole world know a country.
Sport is more than just a game to be since, it has a big influence on us as human as it has brought a lot of togetherness and recognition amongst us...just look at the CR7 example you gave...that shows how much influence sport has
Sport has one of the biggest influences ever on people than we can ever imagine. I cant even imagine how he world would have understood diffrient countries perspective without sport.
Sport is just the main thing, it can never be overrated and it brings joy to the human race. Thanks for sharing.
