You know sometimes when life hits you in some areas you will just wish one day that maybe a multimillionaire should just come to your parents house and say, I'm the father of this child, which happens to be me. Or probably one day your parents should just tell you that they are sorry that they are actually not the father that gave birth to me, and the real father is a billionaire. I mean, sometimes we just think too far, especially when we see any movies, because honestly, this happens most times in movies. You will just see someone that suffers a lot, and boom, he or she has seen someone that helps them.
But then life is not a fairytale. Life is beyond our imagination. Although some of these happen in reality too.
The question is, What if I'm adopted? For someone to adopt a child, that means the person has done a whole lot of work. It's not easy to take care of someone for so many years.
Imagine I was my age, and I just found out that I was adopted. I mean, my parents gave me everything to be a good person; I was trained spiritually and physically by them. I mean, the sacrifice they both did for me just to become someone great in life is top notch. Honestly, I wouldn't even imagine if I could be adopted in the first place if they eventually told me.
I will think it's a prank because my parents are playful. You know sometimes there are some sacrifices that people will do for you, and you will know that you belong to them. If I was called today and I was told that I'm adopted, I will not be angry, nor will I be sad. But my first question is, Who are my real parents? I will ask them why they left me all these while; for me, I believe that there is a reason for everything. Probably if they hadn't given me to someone else, I would not have lived to even know them, so getting angry and saying stuff isn't for me. And if they were able to give me a genuine response as to why I was given to someone else to raise, then I might have considered them as my second parents—not the first one though.
Meanwhile, the second thing I will check is that if they have money, honestly, money is very important. I know you might not be expecting me to say that. But if I found out that they are multimillionaires. I will just accept them as my second parents, as I said earlier, and I will make sure I have enough money to take care of my first parents. You see, the fact is that I will never make them my first parents because someone who raised you from a child till you were able to finish your high school and service has done a lot for you in this life. And no matter what, they will always be my first parents, regardless of the reason my real parents must have abandoned me.
