The culture of clean living and discipline in poor waste management is indeed wrong. Many of our people around the world are too selfish, even just not throwing used tissue from inside the car onto the road.
However, the government also has an obligation to create serious and sustainable clean living programs that are not accompanied by corruption.
I sometimes think that corruption is also trash in the government, it's just that it's rarely smelled.
I know the government has gotten their hands dirty in the case of pollution but we can't blame only the government for how much waste we generate globally.
It keeps piling up everyday and I just hope earth doesn't end up a garbage site.
I remain convinced that discipline regarding cleanliness is not just a cultural issue, but a structural one.
