Moving away from home to start my own life hasn’t been an easy thing for me but God has been good as things are a lot better than they used to be before. I’m actually very grateful that I get to be tired from all the things I prayed and wished for a few years ago for myself today. I have all those things and then some more and there’s no day I don’t thank God for that.
Amidst all the good things going on and all, there’s the part we all know is true but don’t want to talk about. It’s about how his life get or has gotten for us all now. I didn’t know auditing was this crazy because tell me why as I was younger grown ups made adulthood look like a piece of cake. Little do I know it was a whole new ball game all together.
There are days I can step at as early as 6 or 7 am only to get back home after 10pm. Very bad time to have a husband and children if you ask me because damn, there’s no time to even catch your breath. You get home at 10pm, eat the takeout you got on your way home, take your shower and go to bed only to be up again at around 4am.
With all that going on, there are so many things I do on a normal day which I don’t even get to do anymore. For example, cooking, watching shows and even doing laundry. For almost all of the household chores, I can out source and sometimes do but most of these services don’t meet what I’m looking for. One time I hired someone to clean my space for me after I returned from a long trip. I ended up having to clean the entire space again because to me, that was a very shabby work which I had to pay for. It wasn’t worth it.
I really don’t enjoy out sourcing some services unless they meet my demands and provide top notch results because on a normal day, I will just do it myself and do it well with no complains. Most recently, one majors challenge I’m facing has to do with my laundry. I can’t be busy all week and have to spend about 2-3 hours washing with my hand. Every weekend I tell myself I need to buy a washing machine because even if I take my clothes to the laundry, I most definitely will end up rewashing them again because they were not done well.
I have colleagues and friend who patronize the laundry services and other services a they’re pretty okay with them but for me, it’s different and to me it’s totally fine. Hopefully, by the end of the year, I will have every technology I need to make life easier for me and I will get to enviro my hobbies and other things to the maximum.
