RE: How to be updated about people's post without following them

in Hive Learners3 years ago (edited)

Very useful 🙏

I'm a mad reblogger :) I just like to share and help people get more exposure (hopefully)

But I also miss so many of my favorites because of reblogs, time etc

I've been going to my connections feed and trying to stay abreast of new posts there

This'll save tons of time and effort 👍

Hehe. I have seen you reblogging 🤪...

While we have very good intentions about reblogging, there are some drawbacks we should consider. So many reblogs mess up our own blog. Secondly, when we see someone in reblogging habit we simply overlook their reblogs .

I hope the list feature of peakd will help you

Ah okay

More knowledge for a noob!

I will, henceforth, restrain my reblogging

If possible! 😁

I think it's also a remnant from Fakebook. Common practice to reshare stuff.

I don't care so much about my blog tbh. I go to users posts page as habit to see only their stuff.

And my blog is for connecting people... I hope!

But if they're gonna be missed and it works the opposite way on Hive, I need to rethink that so thanks for the info 👍

And a favourites list is super convenient. Love this

Posts on facebook are smaller in size as compared to blogs on Hive. Reposting doesn't work here the way it does on FB.

But if they're gonna be missed and it works the opposite way on Hive, I need to rethink

Yes, you certainly need to rethink. Reblogging too much is like spamming other people's feed, isn't it? It might cause annoyance to those who follow you.

Thanks for stopping by

Okay - great and thanks for letting me know about this 😊

Really glad I found your post!
