Your parents did what they ought to have done, you wouldn't blame them anyways. But you see that your friend, he didn't try oo , datz by the way.
Personally, there was a time I used to trust eehh but life experience has thaught me a big lesson to the point that I can tell you that some times I don't trust myself talk more of trusting others. Why did I say that? Atimes I see my self doing what I promised myself I won't do again, is that not untrust?
